A very popular clothing worn around Howard, is Hollister. You can see it on anyone, both boys and girls.  Hollister, is a brand by Abercrombie & Fitch and it was especially made for teenagers. Perhaps, that is that why it was the second most preferred clothing brand by teens in 2008. 

Hollister does not just sell clothes, it also has a very popular unisex fragrance.  For the dudes, the fragrance is called SoCal Cologne.  For the girls, its called SoCal Perfume.  Girls can also enjoy body washes, mists, lotions, and an assortment of lip glosses, and lip balms. All of these products are part of the “Sessions” line. 

While you shop until your heart’s content, Hollister plays an eclectic selection of alternative rock and pop music. Hollister can be found all around Orlando in locations like: the West Oaks Mall, the Flordia Mall, the Mall at Millenia, and the Fashion Square Mall. Hollister is also located in the Prime Outlet on I-Drive.

  Another hot clothing brand for teens, is Aeropostale. Aeropostale was founded in 1987 by Jullian R.Geiger. Aeropostale, was also formally known as a surf clothing brand. The company has recently launched a new brand called, P.S., which is a clothing line geared towards small children. The first ever Aeropostale store, was opened in New York City in 1987. There is a large variety of sexy fragrances sold by Aeropostale under the store brand name… I need to go and get myself some!!

I asked some students about their opinion on the two clothing brands and this is what they had to say:

Jasmyn S.says- “I feel that Hollister is more laid back than Aeropostale. While Hollister, makes me feel like I’m from Malibu and gives me a lot of swag. Also, I have more to choose from with Hollister.”

Anfernee B says-”HOLLISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Alexis R.says- “I feel that Aeropostale is very cool. It has a wide variety of EVERYTHING!! Like seriously: tops,pants,belts,scarves,bathing suits, Hoodies,polos and really… the list goes on and on. Aero has so much swagga! OMG!”

  Cynthia says-“Hollister doesn’t have anything over Aero. Aero is all about California and New York (the most famous places in the U.S.). Most people wear Aeropostale, if you check kid’s closets they would at least have one Aeropostale shirt and no Hollister!”   

There you have it people,opinions straight from the the mouths of students around Howard.  Hollister or Aeropostale, the choice is yours!
