What do you expect me to do,
Travel around the world in eighty days.
I’m not a pilot.
What, that’s not me,
I don’t fly airplanes!
What do you expect me to do,
Create a bunny out of thin air.
I’m not a magician.
Though that would be cool!
What do you expect me to do,
Jump off a burning building and land in a pile of snakes.
I’m not a stunt woman.
That would be scary!
What do you expect me to do,
Ride a bike in “Le Tour De France.”
I’m not all that full of energy.
This is what you can expect me to do,
Dive for the volleyball when it’s going out of bounds.
SPIKE THE BALL!
But with all the mighty power my little heart can give.
Shoot a three when I get the chance,
Steal the ball from the opposing team.
And just give it my all.
I’m not perfect, but if you give me a chance……
I promise I will do my best to succeed!
