Do You Remember Your Last FCAT Day?
Ughhhh good times, good times. I remember my last FCAT day clearly. It was exciting because it was the first time I was taking FCAT in middle school. Everyone was worried and panicked, and I’m a drama queen, so you can imagined how I acted. First, I woke up in the morning and I was so worried and hungry, but I kept on focusing on the test and concentrating.
I went to my bus stop and I was shaking because I was still so nervous. I got off my bus and everyone was talking about the FCAT. They were scared and worried, some worse than me.Then I entered the school and that’s when everything began. I walked to my class as fast as I could because I did not want to be late or miss anything at all.
First thing I saw when I walked through the door was these baskets on the floor filled with food. A lady was there to help with the teacher and she offered me some food. I got my food and sat down and ate, but when I get really nervous I cant eat that much. I looked around and there were snacks on the table and that’s when we started to get ready.
We threw away our trash and sat down, then the lady began to give us the instructions for the FCAT test. We got the test and began, the packet was thick and had two sections. Surprisingly the questions were easy, and I had no disturbance at all. By the time I knew it, I was done and felt a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
My class headed to lunch and I was so happy to see all of my friends at lunch. We talked and talked until our teachers came to pick us up.Then we had to walk outside to go back to our class. We went back to our class room and watched a movie. I was so happy because first the test wasn’t that hard for me and second I got to relax.
