Puberty, we all go through it. The worst part about puberty, would probably be the acne! It lowers your self esteem because it seems like everyone is just looking at your acne, instead of you. There’s nothing that can get rid of acne in one day, but there are things that can reduce breakouts, and over time your face will be clear!
Here are a couple a tips to keep your face clean depending on your acne level and your hygiene…
How To Get Rid of Pimples, Whiteheads & Blackheads:
•If you MUST pop a pimple, don’t do  it with your bare hands! Use a a clean tissue to wrap around your fingers and squeeze it GENTLY, to drain all the pus inside. Then wash the area and wash your hands.
•Switch to makeup that is not oil based.
•Wash your face every night before going to bed.
•Change your pillowcases every week or so. There is a lot of dirt and bacteria on your pillowcases that can transfer to your face during the night.
•Drink water! It cleans out all the toxins from your body.
•Stress could probably be another reason why you are getting breakouts. Try getting lots of sleep & exercise.
•Blackheads are hard to remove. Try using a scrub agent and do so every 2 days. Don’t scrub everyday, because you can irritate your skin and that will only cause more acne.
•If you have bangs, be sure to wash them frequently. Oil from your hair transfers to your face. Maybe at home you can pull them up and out of your face, while at school or work ,you can put them back down again. And, be sure to wash your face after!
•Wash your face, but don’t do it too often. Overwashing can strip natural oils from your face and therefore, producing more. Do it once in the morning after you wake up, once in the afternoon and once at night, before you go to sleep.
•Clean your body. Take showers. If your body is dirty and smelly, your face is probably oily and dirty too. Which is also bad because, that can cause bacne! (Acne on your back)
Now, if you’re not worried about your acne, but you’re worried about the scars that are left on your face from previous times, then follow these instructions:
•Eat fruits and vegetables. It’s not just about the outside, it’s about the inside too.
•Again, you can exfoliate with a scrub. It removes dead skin cells. But don’t do it everyday.
•Avoid picking at the scabs left by the old pimples.
