MPA is Music Performance Assessment. The chorus and the band had to go to MPA to compete. I interviewed Mr. Penfield to get some details on what this assesment is. Mr.Penfield is the chorus teacher here at Howard. He is a really good teacher here and he has helped our chorus  do really excellent at MPA.
In MPA you have a prepared piece and you preform it in front of a Jude. The judge will rate you on how you did. Then you will have to do a sight read(when you see a piece you have never seen).
What is the purpose of this concert? ”MPA is an opportunity to showcase the skill to show what they have been working on all year,” said Mr.Penfield.
How many schools are there? “Every middle school with a chorus goes to MPA”
How did Howard do? “We did really well ,and all the choir  got excellent. The Ranger chorus and beginning chorus got superiors.”
Any other interesting or necessary info? “They had the best MPA for Howard since 2004. I am very proud of the students and they worked really hard.” said Mr.Penfield.

aww thats so cool u guys posted what happened at mpa on your website we had fun and it was a challenge but we pulled throughand it was so werth it.
but next time i hope the bathrooms work and the water is cold enough
