Magic barely breaks through!! Games 1-3 Cavs vs Magic

on 5/20/09 (Wednesday) it was Magic vs the Cavaliers. In the 1st quarter, it looked like a blowout 19 to 33.  Lebron James with 26 points in the 1st quarter alone …Ending up with 49 points his playoff high! Also Magic’s Dwight Howard dunked so hard he broke the shot clock in Cleveland!!!  All he had to say was “my bad”. It wasn’t lookin to good for the magic as things couldn’t flow for Hedo. Beating the Cavaliers in a 1-0 series.

In game 2 there was alot of suprises from the Magic and the Cavaliers. 1st off, lets start with how the Cavs led the 1st quarter 30 to 16. Again it was looking as though the Cavs would sweep the Magic.  After the half, the score was 56 to 44- Magic was down by 10 and still they could’nt find their stroke. During the 3rd Rashard Lewis really stood out for the  Magic 4-7 beyond the 3.  With1:35 in the 3rd quarter Hedo finally makes something to help the Magic getting it 69 to 75. In the 4th Micheal Pietrus makes a 3 shorting the score 80 to 82 Cavs lead. Finally the Magic ties the game 84 to 84 and takes the lead 86 to 84 thanks to Courtney Lee with some inspiring  field goals. The final minute of the 4th Hedo took a chance on a huge 3 to tie the game again 93 to 93. With 10 seconds to go it’s Magic’s ball they make the field goal.  Only 1 second to go Lebron punishes the Magic with a 3 to win the game 96 to 95.

In game 3, Magic was doing better on the offensive. After the 1st it was 17 24 Magic was up a good start at home. During the second quarter the key players were Ben Wallace mo williams ad lebron they helped cleveland get back in the game Lebron had 18 points in the 1st half. After the 1st half Dwight had 3 fouls already. One shocker in the game was when Anthony Johnson accidently bowed Mo Williams in the face he had 2 cuts under his eye. Anthony was called for a flagerant foul he was not ejected though. The second half Magic was up by 6 after a big steal by Courtney lee.  Varejao and Ilgauskas was fouled out in the 4th so was Orlando’s Dwight Howard but they win 99 to 89.
